Western Yellow Pine
This Western Yellow Pine, A.K.A. Ponderosa Pine, I cut trying to keep the knot at the top. These trees grow up to 150' with a 3' trunk and can be 350-400 years old at maturity. Another Pacific North West tree with stunning bark. This one I cut in Butternut.
